Foster Parent Training Requirements

Orientation training is required for all new applicants. Additionally, the state of Alaska requires a one-parent foster home to receive ten hours of training per year. Fifteen hours of training are required for a two-parent home, which is shared between the parents annually. For training schedules in your area, please refer to the following site: http://www.acrf.org/calendars.php
