Remembering Michael

In the ten years that A Family For Every Child has been an organization, we have seen many things. We have been able to help facilitate placement of over 5,000 children into permanent homes. We have seen over 250 mentor matches take place. We have heard countless success stories from families that were able to become complete by opening their homes and their hearts to a waiting foster child. This year as we reflect on the past ten years, we want to pause to remember one special story in particular…

Michael was one of our early adoptions, he was 16 at the time, he lost his life just as he was beginning to truly live. He was killed in a car accident in June of this year. We honor his adoptive family and the difference they made in Michael's life, for the years they loved and believed in him, they embraced everything about him and encouraged him to be his best self, which he grew to be. We are so grateful they gave him this love and life and he left this world in peace. We could not have been prouder of this family and the progress Michael made. Our prayers are with them! Thank you for visiting this page, for watching the video, and for helping to remember Michael.
