Camp To Belong in the Northwest
June 20-25, 2011 at Camp Silver Falls : Salem, OR
Camp To Belong Northwest continues our incredible journey and dedication as we reunite brothers and sisters from the pacific northwest who are placed in separate foster, adoptive or kinship homes through our one of a kind Summer Camp Program. We are a large group of volunteers who work year round to raise the dollars needed every year to run this program. Every dollar we raise goes towards our campers!
Camp To Belong Northwest, now in its 6th year, serves children in Oregon. Campers receive an exceptional experience filled with traditional camp activities. This year we are excited to partner with Camp Silver Falls in Salem, Oregon to host 100 campers!
Camp To Belong Northwest has proudly served over 400 youth from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and some of our surrounding states in the Northwest like Alaska, and California. Camp To Belong Northwest relies solely on donations from individuals, businesses in the Northwest, Corporations and grants. We need your help; and we hope that you will remember Camp To Belong Northwest. Because of your generous support, we are making a difference for siblings living in foster care.
Camp Stories From the Kids
"I want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for providing the opportunity for me and my brother Bryce to be able to spend valuable time together. For providing the opportunity for our sibling bond to seal, never to be broken again. I can say this: I am proud to be a part of the Camp To Belong Family. You saved one more sibling bond. You are a hero."
"Thank you for giving me the privilege to spend five days with my brother in a beautiful camp. It was a privilege that I will never forget, no matter how down I may feel. You have changed my life in every way."
"I liked eating, hiking, playaking and climbing with my brother. We ate together, played together and fought together. I had a very good time."
"I didn't know until today that both of my brothers can swim."
