Macy's Shop For A Cause

Charity Challenge

From July 11th- August 9th





This July 11th through August 9th- A Family For Every Child is partnering with Macy's in their Shop For A Cause event. When you begin fundraising with AFFEC or donate to the cause you are helping us in winning $100,000 for our programs to benefit foster and at risk youth. 


A Note From Macy's:

Macy's is excited to announce the 2017 Macy's Shop for a Cause Charity Challenge, a friendly fundraising campaign for US-based 501(c)3 charities and accredited schools. Participating organizations will compete for up to $300,000 in cash prizes.

Everything launches on Tuesday, July 11th at 12pm ET and runs through Wednesday, August 9th at 1:59:59pm ET.

• The organization that raises the most for itself online via the Challenge wins a $100,000.
• Second place gets $50,000
• Third gets $25,000
• Fourth gets $15,000
• Fifth gets $10,000

There will also be weekly Bonus Challenges for organizations with an additional $100,000 in prizes available.

And, the best part of the Challenge is that even if you don't win any of the grand prize money, you get to keep the money you raise during the campaign. So, so great.



Step 1: Sign Up!

Getting started is easy! Click on sign up below and follow the instructions on how to register. Feel free to email our Events Team at events@afamilyforeverychild.org or call 541-343-2856 with any questions. If you would like digital material like our logo or email material please feel free to ask and we will get that all to you.


Step 2: Fundraise!

Set a fundraising goal and share your page on your social media platforms. Have family, friends, and followers donate to you participating in "Shop For A Cause" and supporting A Family For Every Child and our programs to benefit foster children.


Step 3: Post Updates!

Post updates on your fundraising progress on social media and tag A Family For Every Child in your posts so we can share and hype up your fundraising page. 


Step 4: THANK YOU!

  Join A Family For Every Child on July 17th, 2017 at 7:05 PM at PK Park. This is a very special evening for you, your friends, and your family! When you go watch this baseball game- you choose what you pay for each of your tickets! This is a great opportunity for a fun night out while also benefiting a great cause. By purchasing tickets to this game- A Family For Every Child will receive half of all ticket sales to benefit our programs for foster and at risk youth!

You choose how much you pay per ticket and half of your ticket payment is donated to AFFEC. All tickets must be purchased at the event for a donation to be made to A Family For Every Child!

Oakshire Inspires

August 23rd from 11am-10pm



  Come out to support A Family For Every Child at our upcoming Oakshire Inspires Night! Enjoy great food, a raffle, and some of the best small batch beer around! $1.00 from every pint sold will benefit AFFEC. We will be on-site from 5 pm - 7 pm for a reception, sharing about our programs and answering questions. We hope to see you there!
