Introduction

Hi! Our names are Jacki and Ryan Miller. We do not yet have any children but can't wait to adopt!! We both love to travel and spend time with family. We also like to play golf, go to movies, playing board games, gardening, reading. Ryan is a chiropractor and is the owner of of his clinic. Jacki is a Former teacher and will be a stay at home mom to whatever little ones we adopt. We are both Christians and attend church regularly.

We love cheering for the SEC team Mississippi State Bulldogs. But we love going to New Orleans to cheer on the Saints! We love baseball too. We also love attending PGA golf games. We love watching family tv shows like Everybody loves Raymond but also PBS programs, and HGTV. We love Disney movies and love to watch anything funny. We like listening to gospel and country music. We have two sweet little puppies that we enjoy spending time with. Our neighborhood has a neighborhood pool and a large fishing lake. We live across from a beautiful Golf Course too. We love to be outside with neighbors and our cul-de-sac has some kind of fun event almost weekly. There are 25 children living on our street.

Home and Community

We live in the State of Mississippi. Our home is a single family home. We live in a Suburban neighborhood. We are close to our neighbors. We have one or more dogs .

Church will be the central part of our lives but also spending time with extended family. There are many activities that our church has but also there is also so many sporting teams to join from soccer, cheer and gym, and karate. Our home is located in the best school district in the state so they have the best extra-curriculum programs to offer in sports, art, and music. Then our neighborhood also has playgrounds, walking track, pool, and lake. Madison School District is the best in the state. But there are also multiple private schools that rank some of the best in the nation.

Parenting Experience

Although we have not parented any children in our home yet, Jacki is a former teacher have experience teaching Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade. Ryan has worked with many kids with ADD and ADHD in helping them with nutrition and health goals to assist them in dealing with their learning disabilities. I think our biggest family strength is all of our support network around us through our friends, neighbors, and most of all our family. As challenges arise we think that the most important skill you can have is to ask for help. We know that there are certified specialist that can counsel our family and help us through whatever challenges arise. We have done numerous trainings online plus classes offered through Bethany Christian Services but we have also read multiple books such as the Connected Child. Please refer to home-study for complete list.

Support

We haven't ever had to utilize and resources for any of the issues listed above. Our extended family offers us the biggest area of support. Church, Bethany Christian Services, Friends who have adopted
