Hi from Ben and Annie

Our names are Annie and Ben Burns. Annie is currently 56 years old. Ben is currently 60 years old. We do not yet have any children in the home.

Annie is a stay-at-home parent and has a flexible work schedule. Ben works full-time for Liberty Utilities as a Senior Systems Administrator.

Our Home and Community

We live in a suburban neighborhood in a medium sized city.We are in the state of Missouri. Our home is a 1,500 2 story with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a nice friendly neighborhood. The grade school that is near our house is the same that Annie went to and our son Nathan went to also. There is a new beautiful high school in our city. We have nice neighbors, good friends and family that all are within about 10 miles of our home. We also have four silly but sweet cats Belle, Karma, Mister Magoo, and the newest addition Sassy.

Our Experience with Children

We have one grown son Nathan. We were foster parents for about 13 years. Annie have worked in different group homes with a large number of children with varying behavioral, mental, and emotional conditions. Annie has been med tech and Mandt certified in the past.

Our Support System

All of our family and friends are looking forward to us adopting. Our best friends and Annie's sister, and Ben's sister Kim are all hoping to get to baby sit and spend time with the new addition or additions to the family.

Motivation to Adopt

We have been hoping to adopt for many years. We know that this is a life changing decision for both us and the child/children. We understand that all children come with different abilities and challenges that make each of us wonderfully unique. We look forward to the new lives, love, and laughter that the child/children and us will share together.
