Family Description

Hi,I am a foster mom/grandmom, who is a single fun-fillled mom and with lots of love to give to a single child or a possible sibling group. I am so excited about "permanenty" adopting a child between the ages of 8 and 16, but I am flexible given the situation. I have been waiting and wanting to adopt a child for a long time and really want a child who wants good home and a great family. I love children, which is the reason I became a foster mom. I am a foster-to-adopt mom, and I have been a mom to several foster children. I currently have one foster daughter with a beautiful baby grandson, who comes and stays with me on the weekends. I also have one puppy, and her name is Kaia. She is a small maltipoo, and she loves to jump run, lick, and play. I come from a,very large extended family, who live in different states. We have so much fun a family get-togethers and reunions. On our last big trip, we went to Disney World. This year a cruise to the Bahamas. Next year, possibly Puerto Rico. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, vacationing, and going fun places, especially during the summers and holidays. I have traveled around the world and met people from many different cultures. I love traveling to tropical places, but some of my favorite local places to visit are beaches and parks. I live in a beautiful Suburban home. My community has three swimming pools, several tennis courts, and a playground. There is lots of good schools, churches, shopping, restaurants and things to do nearby. I am also a Christian and attend church on a regular basis, and enjoy participating in fun church actitives. Who says church has to be boring, certainly not me :-)! I am really excited about adopting and adding to my family. I have so much to offer: love, support, family and structure. So, hopefully you will consider me as your next adoptive family :-).

Preference Description

I would like to adopt a child between the ages of 8 and 16. I would prefer to adopt a girl. However, I am also open to adopting a sibling group consisting of two girls or one boy and one girl.
