Washington Child
Migel is an energetic little boy. He enjoys coloring, playing with legos, dressing up in costumes, going camping and being active. He likes gardening and loves animals. Migel loves the water everything from swimming to taking baths. Foster mother describes him as "all boy" as he loves being out in nature, getting dirty and playing with bugs and frogs. Migel thrives on one to one attention. Foster parent describes Migel as very polite, loving and thoughtful. Migel can be very affectionate with adults he trusts. He is creative, smart and has a good memory. Current and former foster parents have reported Migel is great with animals, being caring and gentle. Animlas tend to flock to him.
Migel can be quite impulsive and has difficulty paying attention. He struggles with transitions, following directions/rules and being told no. He does best in a highly structured environment with consistency and predictability. Migel has difficulty sharing and does better with older children. Interacting with same age and younger peers can be a challenge.
We are looking for two parent adoptive families ideally with experience parenting or working with children who have special needs. Families willing to work within multiple systems to meet child’s needs. And families with older children in the home.
