Lavar has a healthy appetite and enjoys going to all-you-can-eat buffets, particularly Chinese. This 15 year old loves sports of all kinds, but his favorite is football. He is a loyal New York Giants fan and follows them closely during the season. He will tell you that he is not picky about what type of family adopts him. Lavar has been in foster care for five years and has moved several times. Lavar knows he has a long road ahead of him, and is willing to put forth the effort. If he could be adopted, he would like to have a family who will stick by him through the good and bad. Lavar needs parents who will be positive role models and who are comfortable setting strict boundaries.

'I enjoy hanging out with friends at school and listening to rap music on my mp3 player. I want to be a famous rapper but if that doesn't happen I guess I will just own a high-end male fashion business when I grow up.'-Lavar
