Gilbert is a friendly boy who enjoys talking and is learning to interact positively with others. He loves sports, especially basketball and football.

Gilbert is a smart child but he does need some extra help with school work at times. Gilbert's favorite subject in school is reading.

Gilbert will do best in a two-parent home but other homes may be considered. It will also be important for Gilbert to maintain relationships with members of his extended family. Gilbert will need to participate in a longer transition into his adoptive home to ensure his treatment needs are met.
