#GivingTuesday is a day to give back. It is a day to recognize all that we have, and all that we can share. This day is about making a difference. Everyone has something they can give. During this time of
Thanksgiving and Holiday Cheer, we ask that you help, by simply giving back. It takes two minutes. Two minutes to change the world. What you donate today will make a difference in your community. What
you give will change the life of a child. It is almost the holiday season, and every child deserves a home for the holidays. So help make that a reality by giving today.
What an amazing day it was! It was our best year yet. 370 princesses walked down thered carpet this year, and spent the day dancing to their favorite Disney songs with their favorite Disney princesses.
We could not have done it without our amazing donors, volunteers, and princess. This event is only possible because of the amazing community we live in. We asked and YOU delivered! We had over
1200 dresses, 650 tiaras, 550 pairs of shoes, all of it donated by YOU! Local businesses donated all of the food provided at the event. We had 110+ volunteers who came out to make this day possible.
Every year we are blessed by the amazing people that work to transform our children into princesses!
You are invited to a ROYAL event for all the magnificent children in the land. Our Princess for a Day event provides a unique experience that will last a lifetime and creates unforgettable memories for foster
children and community children alike. During this event, our “princesses” experience a day of pampering fit for royalty. A fun-filled day of makeovers, a photo session, even a red carpet entrance into the
Princess Tea Party completes this memorable journey.
Foster children are granted free admission. General admission for non-foster princesses is $50.00 per child. ALL children are welcome! Advanced registration is required for all children. Each registered child
must be chaperoned by their King or Queen (parent/adult representative). Due to limited space, we can only accommodate one King or Queen per registered princess, so please leave all wicked step-sisters
and forest creatures at home.
Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have registered a non-foster child, please follow the link provided to purchase your ticket(s).
If you have already registered a non-foster child and still need to pay, click here

families. Princess for a Day is an opportunity for children to be treated like royalty; complete with makeovers, pampering, and a tea party. Over 250 children from across the state will join us for the festivities.
A Family for Every Child is a non–profit organization that began in 2006. Our goal is to develop programs that assist special needs/challenging-to-place foster children, in finding their own forever
families. This year, is our 11th “Princess for a Day” event! We believe that this year will be our best yet, and together we can further our goal of finding homes for every waiting child.
If you have questions or would like to become a Princess for a Day Sponsor, please contact our Events Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or

On behalf of A Family for Every Child and our A Home For The Holidays Auction, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to partner with us to support this worthwhile event benefiting foster children in search
of their forever families. Individual tickets are only $100.00 for a delicious meal and fine wine! Check out our registration form for all the ways you can be involved!
Join us in support of our tenth annual ‘A Home for the Holidays’ dinner and auction. This ‘Winter Wonderland’ themed night consists of dinner, auction packages both silent and live, our famous dessert dash, an impressive
wine wall selection, and a beautiful holiday celebration.
Along with dozens of dedicated event volunteers, we are asking you to support us by donating and/or attending our Annual Event. “A Home for the Holidays” is responsible for a large portion of our operating budget for the year.
These funds allow us to oversee the vital programs that we administer, such as Mentoring, Family Preservation, Family Finding, and Matching Assistance.
Attend, volunteer, sponsor or donate. There are many ways to get involved. If you are not able to attend, you are still welcome to sponsor a table and have your logo/name displayed at our event. You can also donate items
to our silent and oral auctions. We are looking for tickets to shows or games, get-a-ways and much more. Contact our event team for more information on what items you can donate.
With your help, we are making a positive and tangible impact in the lives of waiting foster children. We understand that you have many opportunities to support worthwhile programs in our community and appreciate your consideration.

What is the Sports and Outdoor Mentor Program?
The Sports and Outdoor Mentor Program provides mentoring for youth considered at-risk and may otherwise have to wait
months to be matched with a mentor because of the high need for more active volunteers. In addition, the program provides unique opportunities for at-risk children to experience
participatory and spectator sports as well as the abundance of outdoor activities Lane County has to offer.
How Does the Sports and Outdoor Mentor Program Work?
You will be matched with one youth or a sibling pair whom you will mentor for the duration of your commitment. At least once per week for 2-3 hours, you will meet with your youth to engage in an outdoor and/or sports activity (we’ll match you with a youth who likes the same activities you do!). You will be responsible for scheduling a time to meet with your youth and will keep A Family For Every Child up to date with your progress with monthly activity reports. There is a 6 month commitment, however, it can be extended!
What are the requirements?
The requirements are similar to our Mentor Program and just as easy! If you fit the following criteria you can be a Sports and Outdoor Mentor to a youth in our program:
- 19 years of age and older
- Willing to meet with buddy 2-3 hours per week for sports/outdoor mentoring
- Able to commit to 6 months of mentoring
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to provide three character references
- Able to mentor a youth in the Eugene or Springfield area
We’re here to guide and support you through this process — it’s easier than you think!
How is this program different from the Mentor Program?
This program is for youth in our program who are not yet matched with a mentor. While some of the basics are the same, there are some key differences:
- This program’s main focus is on sports and outdoor activities
- The time commitment is 6 months, as opposed to 18 months
- Youth are NOT allowed to visit their mentor’s home
- The minimum age for mentors is 19-years-old
