One Photo Can Change A Life, And So Can You!
Volunteer to help foster children with a professional photo. In the past, a social worker would snap an image on a wind up disposable camera of a terrified and traumatized child in front of their office against the child welfare wall. The image would not fully represent the child to their full potential or display their unique characteristics and personality traits that you could with your volunteer time. One session takes roughly about an hour of work and could change the life of a child forever.

A Family For Every Child’s mission is to find loving, permanent families for every waiting foster child.
JOB SUMMARY:
The photos you will take are more than just pictures. These beautiful and compelling photos bring the children alive, and are vital in the adoption process and finding forever families. AFFEC / Heart Gallery works closely with the Department of Human Services to assist in finding permanent homes for children who need and deserve them. Photos are used for many forms of recruitment. One being the web postings that are used to attract families on various web site, another is The Heart Gallery. Photos have been displayed at prominent shopping malls, grocery stores, airports, banks and other local businesses. Images can also be used in media recruitment opportunities, given to children themselves and shared with their Forever Family once adopted.
A Family For Every Child began in 2006 with the Heart Gallery. Since then this organization has grown into over ten programs dedicated to finding permanent homes for foster children. From mentoring to family preservation to adoption services, A Family For Every Child works to serve and protect the youth in the community. The Heart Gallery is often the first step in engaging families and volunteers, making these photos all the more important.
A Family for Every Child is a 501(c) non-profit organization. Your entire donation is tax deductible. AFFEC / Heart Gallery promises to:
1. Recognize photographer on our website
2. Give photographer an update when the child(ren) they photographed is adopted
3. Provide all information and support necessary to make this an enjoyable experience for everyone involved
