Family Description

We Are a fun loving, joke filled, loving family. We love to Travel and we love the ocean. We both became certified divers this last year and would love for any kids to come who wants to can get certified as well. The females in our family are highly intuitive and have a high level of empathy. We are open to boys or girls. We are open to either girls or boys. We feel we can accommodate a sibling group of up to 3 to 4 children. We prefer to adopt a child of Caucasian, Hispanic, Native american, Biracial or Mixed ethnic background. We are open to children with special needs depending on the medical needs involved. We both work so there isn't a lot of time available for multiple doctor visits each week. In general, We are looking to adopt a Sibling group between the ages of 0 and 17 years old. We are willing to accept minor or medically correctable conditions, We are open to discussion of any other mild developmental issues. Our names are Paul and Jody Stockton. I am currently 45 years old. My partner is currently 47 years old. We do not have any children still living at home. However we have 7 children. I work full-time for William Harvey Oatey as a Maintenance Manager and have a flexible work schedule. My partner works full-time for Constellation West as a Senior Billing Specialist . We really enjoy being outdoors when the weather cooperates. We like to ride bikes, work out, Kayak, go camping. When indoors we like to cook, play cards and board games, watch movies, read. We live in the State of Nebraska. Our home is a single family home. We live in a Suburban neighborhood. We have one dog, her name is Hope. She is a Siberian husky who loves to cuddle and be loved on. She is also very bossy and will let you know when she wants something. She loves to run and play, especially in the snow). (she hates the rain though. she's a big baby when it comes to rain) We have 7 children between us ranging in age from 28 to 12. We have been through almost everything we can think of in dealing with our children. Jody worked in a school for over 4 years, And both know that communication is key with your children. We are firm but very loving. We set clear goals and expectations. We are also fun loving. We joke around with each other and will even prank our own kids from time to time... We have a large extended family who all know and support our decision to Foster to adopt. We have 7 children who live around the country who approve of our decision and are willing to give support when needed. We also have multiple cousins, aunts, uncles etc. When our last child that was at home left we realized how quiet the house was. It was very unusual. We have always had laughter, kids music, games going, etc. And the quiet was overwhelming. We are in a place in our lives that we know we have the time and resources to give love to more children. There are so many children out there that need love and support. We also have another member of our family we would like to introduce. Her name is HOPE. She is our Siberian Husky. We adopted her from a rescue group in Missouri. She had been kept in a pen for most of her life as a puppy breeder. She is also fun loving, she loves hugs, kisses, walks, treats etc. And when she gets mad at us she throws tantrums as well. She will get some trash out of the trash can and place it where she is sure we will see it. Just to let us know that she is upset with us...
