Calling All Heroes!
This event allows foster children and community children alike to be transformed into the heroes we know them to be. Hero For A Day is for children ages 2 to 18 and is a day filled with tons of fun activities designed to create an educational and fun experience for all of our heroes while we raise awareness about our foster care system and the children in it waiting for their forever families. Through Zoom, you and your child will get to see your favorite superheroes, and the local heroes we see saving lives everyday.
We want to also use this event as an opportunity for our community to thank our local first responders and frontline essential members during this health crisis. Without them, we would not be able to hold this event and continue serving our foster community.
This event is free, but we do ask you to register before the event if you can. Each registration comes with the opportunity to come and pick up a Hero Kit from our office to utilize during the event. If you live out of town and want a kit, we can ship one to you (just pay the cost of shipping). Email email@example.com to inquire about your Kit.
We will contact each registrant individually with details and to give you the Zoom code to log in before it starts.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, comments, or concerns!

Thank you all!
For 2020, A Home for the Holidays went virtual!
With 2020 being the bizarre and unprecedented year that it has been, the annual A Home for the Holidays Gala & Auction went online and so many of our friends and supporters and adoption families went online and showed up for the kids and their community.
We want to give a HUGE thank you to Robb Holloway and Sid Voorhees for running the show and making the hour-long broadcast such a delight. We also thank Dave at Zion Ideas Productions for producing the show and making this all possible. And we thank the Boy Scouts of Eugene for hosting our small team and giving us the space to run the show.
We want to thank this year's A Home for the Holidays sponsors for continuing to support us and show up for our youth. We also want to thank every business and person who contributed items and time to our auction. Even through these troubling times, so many of you were able to support us and our mission, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Stay tuned for a full wrap up and see how this year turned out. We also have Giving Tuesday coming up on December 1st, a day meant to give back to your community and support the causes you love.

We were amazed and incredibly thankful for the dedication, energy, and hard work that every volunteer put into making the day run smoothly! From making sandwiches to curling hair, setting up the venue to helping the princesses find dresses, each and every volunteer made a tremendous impact, and helped make the day magical!
