Introduction

Our names are Maria and David Gent. I am currently 55 years old and my husband is currently 51 years old. We are empty nest since our twins girls turned 20 years old and decided to move from home. I work full-time for Elevation Health Care as a School Psychologist and have a flexible work schedule. Home and Community

We live outside Bremerton City limits with 2 1/2 acres for a garden and fruit trees and a view of mountains and the water (Puget Sound). There are a lot of hiking and outdoor activity opportunities.

Parenting Experience

We have 21-year-old twin daughters who are grown and out of the house be stay in close contact. Maria is a school psychologist and works with children daily. Both of us have worked with youth and small children groups in the church and community.

Support

We know that we have more to give and that a child needs a stable healthy home that we would love to provide. We have a family who has previously adopted and we love our nephews and nieces and would love the opportunity for our own children as well.

Motivation to Adopt

We have a great church community with scouting and children's activities. Camping and hiking and water activities to walking on the beach. We love to travel and experience new places and sights.
