Markiah is a handsome nineteen year old who loves music and movies. Markiah likes to give gifts that he has made for others. He is thoughtful, respectful of others and likes to help. He even volunteers to take out the trash!
Markiah says he is learning how to handle his frustrations by taking walks, combing his hair, and listening to music. Markiah loves to learn. His favorite subject is history. Markiah graduated from High School in May 2011. He likes to read history books and the newspaper. He is very inquisitive and loves to ask lots of questions. His favorite sports are football and basketball. Markiah is a true teenager when it comes to eating ' he likes cookies and chips. Markiah knows how to bake his own cookies and is learning how to cook more items.
Markiah needs a family who will understand his losses and provide him with a loving structured home environment. Markiah needs a family committed to him and who will provide him with the opportunities he needs to learn and grow.
