Janelle wants other people to know, "I like to draw and like to win art contests!" Janelle is a bubbly and friendly child who enjoys drawing and has a wonderful imagination! She also enjoys singing and dancing, and likes to play outside whenever possible. Janelle loves to read and is a good student. She reports, "I really like food and when I grow up I want to be an artist or a baker!

Janelle thrives on positive attention and activity and likes to feel in control of most situations. She needs guidance in learning to express her frustrations appropriately and in developing and respecting personal boundaries. Janelle attends a school that specializes in providing a highly structured and individualized classroom experience. Sudden changes in routine can be challenging for Janelle and she does best with supervision around peers.

Janelle needs a patient and understanding family who can make a firm commitment and be willing to learn how to best meet her needs and help her reach her potential. A highly structured environment with constant supervision and individualized attention would be best. A family for Janelle should be strong advocates for continued services to address her medical, physical, and emotional needs, and should be willing to participate in services with her as necessary.

Janelle would like to have brothers and sisters but it is recommended that she would do best as the youngest child in the home. Janelle would thrive in a two parent or single mother household.
